The best of both worlds

Group courses, when managed in the right way, can offer invaluable experience to students. They provide a more relaxed learning environment, and allow students to bounce ideas off each other and make new friends. The added element of friendly competition can help to motivate students, while the feeling of camaraderie ensures that they realise that others are ‘in the same boat’.

Here at Lucky Gecko, we offer various group classes throughout the year. Currently, these include our popular 11+ Full Length and Short Courses, a Common Entrance Course and our Year 4 General Skills Course. We also offer holiday courses that are designed to beat the ‘summer slump’ and prepare students for Year 5 and Year 7.

The numbers in each group vary according to the course, but we would never have more than eight students in a lesson. We insist on keeping our groups small to ensure that we can get to know each individual, so that you get the best of both worlds… the fun of a group with the personal service that we’re so proud of.
