How do I subscribe?

Subscribing is easy! Just go to Our Boxes page and decide which box would best suit your child. Then follow the instructions to set up an account (you’ll be asked for your contact and payment details). You’ll receive an email confirmation and we’ll send out your box as soon as it’s ready.

How do I swap boxes?

Simply log in to your account, and click on ‘Change Plan’ on the subscription you wish to change. You can swap between the boxes as often as you like during your subscription. You just need to let us know before the 15th of the month so that we have time to make the change before everything ships.

Can I subscribe to more than one box?

Absolutely! We don’t recommend getting more than one box at a time for each child, but if you have siblings or friends who’d like separate boxes, that’s no problem at all. You just need to sign each child up separately and all of your subscriptions will be listed within your account. You can edit each one individually so that each child can swap boxes if they want to.

Unfortunately, we are not able to offer a discount if you subscribe to more than one box.

How do I buy a gift?

To set up your gift subscription, follow the link from our Give a Gift page. You will be asked to give the name of the child who will be receiving the boxes, an email address for their parent or guardian (so that we can explain what it’s all about) and your payment details. We’ll do the rest!

How do I redeem a gift?

To redeem your gift, first go to Our Boxes page and decide which box would best suit your child. Then follow the instructions to set up an account (you’ll be asked for your contact and payment details). At the very top, you’ll see a box asking you to enter the voucher code which will be in the welcome email you received. Enter your code and you’ll see that the first six months’ boxes are automatically marked as paid in your account.

You’ll then receive an email confirmation that your account is live and we’ll send out your box as soon as it’s ready.

You’ll receive notification that your voucher is expiring when we send out your sixth box, and you can choose whether to cancel your subscription at that point, or continue getting boxes delivered for £36 per month. You are under no obligation to continue beyond the length of the voucher, but we’ll be very sad to see you go!

Why do you need my payment information if I’m redeeming a gift?

We operate a ‘rolling’ subscription system which is a hassle-free way of ensuring that you get your box every month. We really hope that you’ll continue with your subscription once the gift period is finished, and taking your card details at the beginning means that there will be no disruption to your service should you choose to do so. There will be no charge throughout the life of the gift and we will give you plenty of notice that your free period is coming to an end. There is absolutely no obligation to continue, so you can cancel your subscription before any charge is made.

When will my box arrive?

The cut off for ordering boxes is midnight on the 15th of each month and we will post the boxes out roughly two weeks later. If you subscribe before the 15th, you should receive your box before the end of that month. If you subscribe after the 15th of the month, you will be sent the following month’s box. This may mean that there’s a bit of a wait before you get started, but we promise it’ll be worth it!

What if I’m unhappy with my first box?

We offer a full Satisfaction Guarantee which means that if you’re unhappy with your first box for any reason, you’ll receive a full refund and your subscription will be automatically cancelled. Just contact us and we’ll arrange everything for you. We really hope that it doesn’t come to that though, so please do let us know if there’s anything we can do to improve your experience.

My box didn’t arrive – help!

Oh no! That’s not good! Please allow at least a week for your box to arrive but, if nothing appears, email subscr[email protected], giving your name and delivery postcode and they’ll sort it all out for you. A replacement box will be on its way before you know it.

How do I access my account?

Just Log In and enter your registered email address and password. (Please note that an account is not set up automatically – you will need to activate it from the email you received when you first subscribed.)

How do I update my delivery or payment information?

First, Log In to your account. Once in your account, you will see the Box Subscriptions page, with a list of all your current subscriptions. Each separate subscription has links to update the payment method or edit the contact information for that particular box.

Will I receive an invoice each month?

We don’t send out invoices each month, but they are all stored within your account ready for you to print or download as required. Just Log In and then click on Statements to see the full list.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You are able to cancel your subscription at any time, no questions asked. Simply Log In to your account. Once in your account, you will see that there is an option to cancel each subscription next to the Plan Details.

We have made it as easy as possible to cancel your subscription as we don’t want anyone to feel trapped into getting more boxes than they need. We will be really sad to see you go though, so if there’s anything at all which we can do better, please email [email protected]  before you say goodbye.

My child already has the book from this month’s Imagination Box – what should I do?

Oops! Sorry! Occasionally these things will happen. Take a look at the list of recommended reading in this month’s booklet and send an email to [email protected] with the title of an alternative book from that list which they don’t have. We’ll send out a replacement to you quick sharp.

All we ask in return is that you “pay it forward” by giving the duplicate book to someone else who will be able to enjoy reading it.

Please note that this service is only for duplicate books – we can’t replace books which just aren’t to your child’s taste.

Do you make boxes for older/younger children?

At the moment, we only make the Wisdom, Imagination and Curiosity boxes which are for children aged roughly 9-12. However, we are constantly developing new boxes and products so keep checking back, or sign up to our newsletter via the box at the bottom of any page to be the first to hear about them.

Where can I buy the items in my box?

You should find the details of where to buy the items in each month’s parent information email. Occasionally we have items which are only available wholesale so their details will not be listed. If this is the case, please contact us with the details of what you’d like and we’ll try our best to organise it for you.

Do you sell past boxes?

Eventually, we hope to have an online shop where you can buy one-off boxes. For now though, please contact us with the details of the box you’d like and, if we have any left in stock, we’ll happily send it to you.
